Buwis.ph exists to take the guesswork out of BIR filing.
If you're a freelancer, sole proprietor, or small business owner in the Philippines, you know the drill — quarterly VAT or Percentage Tax, income tax under whatever regime applies to you, figuring out which form is even the right one, and doing it all again next quarter. It's not that the process is impossible. It's that it's confusing, easy to get wrong, and takes time away from actually running your business.
We built Buwis.ph to fix that.
What we do
Buwis.ph is a guided tax filing tool built specifically for the Philippine tax system. Tell us about your business — your VAT status, your income tax regime, whether you're under 8%, Graduated, OSD, or itemized deductions, even BMBE certification if that applies to you — and we handle the rest: figuring out which forms you actually need, computing what you owe, and getting it filed.
One of our accountants files the completed return with BIR on your behalf, directly, so you don't have to touch the process at all — you choose Normal (2–3 calendar days) or Rush (12–24 hours) depending on how quickly you need it done.
Either way, you always know exactly what you owe, when it's due, and what you're paying us for versus what you owe the government — we keep those two things completely separate, always.
Why we built this
Because most tax tools weren't built for how Filipino freelancers and small businesses actually work. We wanted something that speaks plainly, doesn't assume you already know tax law, and doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need. Just clear answers, accurate computations, and a filing process that doesn't eat your whole afternoon.
Where we're headed
Buwis.ph is still growing. We're a small team building this one filing season at a time, adding support for more forms, more edge cases, and more ways to make tax season a little less stressful for the people who keep this country's small businesses running.
